There are chances where schools should pay the students.. R.Elizabeth Jebaraj completed 10th standard in Cumbum Govt.girl's higher secondary school in 2001. When she received her mark sheet, she was shocked to see 'false birth date' had been entered in it. Though she approached the school administration several times, they simply told her to 'wait'... due to this, she lost all the chances to continue her further studies... Atlast, she filed a case in the consumer court in Theni. Then the case was transformed and dealt by the State consumer disputes redressal commission recently. Finally the school was asked to pay a compensation of Rs.50,000 to Elizabeth.

The clash between the students of the Dr.Ambedkar Law College exposed the cruel face of casteism that prevails inside the college in this 21st centurary. Though we have planted the tri colour flag in  the moon, we lags behind because of the uncivilised manner of sticking to casteism. It is to be noticed that college managements are not taking any serious efforts to overcome caste, creed and religious differences among the students.
